This song is so dear to my heart. It came to me while waiting on the Lord, early in the morning. First came the melody and then the chorus. This is the first song God entrusted me to write. What a journey; it’s from Him, to Him, and about Him. This song is the cry of our heart and the cry of the Spirit as the return of the Lord approaches. May this song pull on the heart of Jesus as a fragrance that is pleasing to Him. It’s such an honor to have our dear friends Jeremy and Katie Riddle join our precious Jesus Image team and choir. I had envisioned Jeremy leading the song while in the writing process. What a dream. I also want to thank Jessica, our amazing Jesus Image team, John Wilds, Dominique, and Court for trusting what I felt in my heart and for helping with this song. Love you all so much.
